Do you hold dates?

Unfortunately not, I work on a 'first in, best dressed' basis. I always like to meet in person or chat over the phone with couples to ensure we're on the same page, and if it's a great fit, your date will be reserved once a deposit has been paid.

What equipment do you use?

I use professional Sony cameras that shoot HD video and super sexy slow mo, paired with a selection of deliciously sharp lenses. To showcase your venue and the surroundings, I love to incorporate footage from my DJI Phantom drone, and when it comes to capturing those priceless vows and speeches, I use the latest Zoom H6 audio recorder, as well as a variety of professional Rode microphones. Then there’s the tripods, monopods (one-legged tripod) and sliders that I use to ensure I'm highly mobile, and can capture cinematic footage all day long, without making your wedding feel like a movie set!

When can we expect our film to be delivered?

I take the time to ensure each wedding is edited to the highest quality to produce a stunning end product, whilst telling the unique story of our couples and their wedding day. No cookie-cutter approach here! I aim to deliver our wedding films within 10-12 weeks, and will keep you posted throughout the edit on when you can expect delivery.

Do you provide raw footage?

In a word, no. This is for several reasons. Firstly, raw footage is essentially the ingredients that go into creating a stunning wedding film, just like a chef uses raw ingredients to create a stunning dish. Secondly, I capture hundreds of short clips on the wedding day, and watching these one after the other will actually detract from your wedding film experience. Sure it'd be easy for me to sell you this footage, but I strongly believe that your experience with a wedding film is maximised by receiving just the finished product, not the raw footage. A photographer will never provide every single photo they take on your wedding day, and film is no different. If you love my work, trust me that all the best bits of your day will be included in your wedding film!

Can you customise a package for us?

Of course! I'm super flexible and happy to create a custom package based on your budget and what you’re looking for. Just give me a rundown of what you’ve got in mind, and I’ll be happy to tailor something to you.

Where are you based?

I live on Sydney's Northern Beaches, but will be relocating to the Queensland Sunshine Coast in early 2018. I'm available to shoot weddings in both locations, so get in touch no matter where you're tying the knot!

Will you travel?

I love to travel! For weddings over a 90 minute drive of Freshwater 2096 or Coolum Beach 4573, a travel fee of $50 p/hour is applicable to cover fuel and time spent travelling. If the wedding is over 2 hours from our studio, a single nights accommodation will be required.  This is a safety measure as I'll be filming nonstop for 10 hours on your wedding day, so adding another 4+ hours of driving on the day isn't the safest thing to do. The location of your wedding will be established at time of booking, and I'll advise of any travel fee that will be incurred. In the event that flights or car hire are required - Goodness Gracious will arrange these bookings, and share details with couple prior to booking, to confirm the additional cost.

We're eloping! Do you capture elopements too?

I sure do! Elopements are amazing and offer such an awesome opportunity to tell your love story as a couple, in a beautiful location. (See above: I love to travel and shoot films!) Recently I was invited to Hawaii to capture the elopement of Luke + Mel, which you can check out here.

How do we book you?

Great news! A $1,000 deposit will confirm your booking and the date is yours. Once confirmed, I’ll send you a short couple questionnaire that helps me get to know you both, and an idea of what you’ve got planned for your big day. I love to meet couples before their wedding for a coffee, or a Skype call if we’re not nearby. The remainder of your payment is then due one month out from your wedding date.
